How it works
Three steps, two of which happen by themselves
No separate box in your car, no second app watching. Just your Tesla and KM Track.
Step 1
Connect your Tesla, once
Through the official Tesla connection you give KM Track a read-only key. The app can never unlock, start or control your car. Two minutes of work, then never again.
Connect Tesla
KM Track only asks for what it needs to read your trips.
- Vehicle data (read-only)
- Location during trips
- Odometer reading
- Unlock or start the car never
- Control climate or charging never
Step 2
Drive. That's all you need to do
Your Tesla sends its trips by itself while you drive. No box in the car, no app that has to stay open, no battery draining while the car is parked.

Step 3
One click for your accountant
Every trip is there with time, address and odometer reading. Mark it business or private, export to PDF or Excel. Watertight, the way the Dutch tax authority wants it.

Why your battery won't notice
Your car sends the data itself
Most mileage log apps ask your Tesla how it's doing every few minutes. Every request wakes the car up, even at night on the driveway. KM Track turns that around: your Tesla reports its trips on its own, right as you drive.
No extra battery drain. Your car can simply sleep; it isn't woken up to ask where it is.
Accurate to the second. Start and end times come from the car itself, not from a measurement afterwards.
Every trip complete. Even that five-minute run to the supermarket is in there. Nothing slips through between two measurements.
Works through Tesla's official Fleet Telemetry. You connect a read-only key once: KM Track can never unlock, start or control your car.

Company car, no bijtelling
You can drive at most 500 private kilometres a year. One kilometre too many and your declaration lapses, with bijtelling over the whole year as a result. KM Track counts down your private kilometres automatically, warns you by email well in time and predicts whether you'll make it through the year.

Company car, with bijtelling

What it earns you
Every business kilometre is worth €0.25
If you drive for work in your own car, a fixed amount per kilometre stands against it: reimbursed tax-free by your employer or BV, or deducted from your profit. The condition is that you can prove the kilometres. KM Track does that for you.
An example using the Dutch rate for 2026, for people who drive for work in their own car. Other rules apply to a company car. An indication, not tax advice: check your situation with your bookkeeper or accountant.
