    Who we are

KM Track is a service by NextEnabler for automatic mileage and trip logging. The data controller is NextEnabler. For questions about your data, you can email the contact address on our contact page.

    What data we process

To log your trips, we process:

    • Your account: email address and (optionally) name.
    • Your vehicle data from the Tesla connection: odometer reading, GPS location at the moment a trip starts and ends, and the driving status (driving or parked).
    • The trips built from this: date, time, start and end location, distance and the business/private label you assign.
    • Payment details are processed by our payment provider Stripe; we do not store credit card or bank account numbers.

    What we deliberately don't do

We only use the data needed for your mileage log. We do not retrieve charging data, camera footage or driver profiles, and we cannot control your car or unlock it remotely. Only you can see your own trips.

Why and on what legal basis

We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of the contract) and to give you a complete trip log. For the Tesla connection you give explicit consent; you can withdraw it at any time.

    Security

Your Tesla connection is stored encrypted. Traffic runs over encrypted connections. Access to the data is limited to what is needed to provide and maintain the service.

    Retention period

We keep your trip data for as long as you have an account, so your records stay complete. If you disconnect the Tesla connection, your existing trip history is kept, but the collection of new data stops. If you delete your account, we delete your data.

    Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers needed to make the service work: Tesla (for the vehicle connection), our payment provider Stripe, and a geocoding service to convert GPS coordinates into addresses. If you connect a Google Sheet yourself, we write your trips to that sheet.

    Cookies and analytics

On the website we use, only if you accept in the cookie banner, analytics cookies from Google Analytics and PostHog (category Statistics: how the site and app are used) and the Meta Pixel (category Advertising: whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to a sign-up). Without consent they do not load. Google also processes data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; Meta also uses the pixel data for its own purposes and is itself responsible for that. Exactly which cookies these are, from whom and for how long they are kept, is listed in the preferences window behind the button below, where you can also change your choice. We keep your choice in a cookie for a year, with the date. Error reporting (Sentry) and remembering your language and login are needed for the service to work and do not require consent.

    Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to withdraw your consent. You can disconnect your Tesla connection yourself in the app. For other requests, you can contact us. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority).

    Changes

We may update this statement if the service changes. The date at the top shows the most recent change.
